Deva Ideal was inspired by the beauty of a women. The impulse was not only an effort to create a new typeface. It was objectifing the beauty into a visual form. And this is how the typeface was born. Instead of imitating the shapes of woman body or other formal attributes, Deva Ideal is an abstract expression of the woman beauty.
The unique character of the typeface is achieved by the use of soft, almost invisibly bent strokes. This is one of the priorities of the typeface - not to disturb the eye of the reader with the odd design details. Deva Ideal excels in her cold beauty and shows her sex appeal. These soft curves differ Deva Ideal from the masculine and technical shapes of the most used contemporary typefaces.
Deva Ideal has the ideal proportions (90 - 60 - 90) and her shapes are elementar and simple. Because of this, the typeface is ideal for any prints, catalogues, books and magazines. The glyph shapes are wide and open, so the text can be set in small sizes and the space can be saved, keeping the same level of legibility.

Deva Ideal vznikla ako písmo inšpirované ženskou krásou. Podnetom na vytvorenie nebola len snaha o vytvorenie nového písma. Bolo to zhmotnenie ženskej krásy do inej vizuálnej podoby. A tak vzniklo písmo. Namiesto imitovania ženských tvarov alebo ďalších vonkajších znakov je Deva Ideal abstraktným vyjadrením ženskej krásy.
Zaujímavá jemnosť je dosiahnutá použitím jemných kriviek, ktoré sú v texte takmer nebadateľné, čo je jednou z priorít tohto písma - nerušiť oko čitateľa kresebnými zvláštnosťami. Týmto dosahuje svoju chladnú krásu a tu sa prejavuje jej sexappeal. Tieto jemné krivky jej pomáhajú odlíšiť sa od maskulínnych a technických tvarov dnešných najpoužívanejších písiem.
Deva Ideal obsahuje ideálne proporcie (90 - 60 - 90) a jej tvary sú elementárne a jednoduché. Preto je vhodná pre ľubovoľné tlačoviny, katalógy, knihy a časopisy. Znaky majú veľké vnútorné priestory, preto je možné Devu Ideal použiť v menšej veľkosti so zaručením rovnakej čitateľnosti, čo výrazne môže pomôcť k ušetreniu miesta.
