Splendid Sans

Splendid Sans© František Štorm

Initially, Splendid Sans has been a part of our Splendid Quartett hybrid family since 1998, providing rather experimental contrast to Script and Serif “styles”. In 2011 I finally realised that each of the members can live alone and is expandable too. The new Splendid Grotesk 7-weight family is enriched by warm details mixing sentiment with playfulness. It’s well suited for children’s books, brochures, posters and advertisement. This simple font doesn’t have many special clever features, just proportional figures and optional single-belly “g”.
